I jumped into the world of blogging for a business in February 2011. I tried it the old fashioned way. A month later, I had 2 blogs set up. It was hard work. A learning curve also set in. What was wordpress, what was a plugin, what FTP, HTML editor – what about security, hosting, and a large assortment of other questions loomed and got answered one by one.
then I found some really neat stuff in the form of courses teaching how to blog, how to set up sites, and a lot of other things you need in order to be successful blogging.
Think of a blog site as a piece of virtual real estate. You go in blindly buying a lot of properties .. some of them are prime, some other people want … but if you do it right, you build a little city and soon, you live by the motto location, location, location which is also a very important concept with blogs and sites.

If I am lucky, each of the sites I build makes a few dollars a day. If I am not lucky, I am not out a whole lot of money since it is painless and easy and also cost effective to build a site my new found way. Here’s two examples.

I continue to develop that site on autopilot. I will show you how to do that in my e-book. After fully developed and sponsored, monetized and ranked, who knows, it may earn $10 or even $100 a day. The site “cost” me $15 to build. And the income stream can last ..
A COMPLETE LIFETIME !
I may have to sign over rights to that site to my daughter.
Here’s another example. Oil prices skyrocketed. Not only will it cost the average US consumer an average of $100 a week to get to and from work with the high cost of gasoline, it is going to cost $1000 to $10,000 a year to heat the average house with oil heat. I took a concept “save on oil heat” … and ran with it.. here is the first site I built

So you see, I LOVE my job. I take ideas that I enjoy. I turn it into a concept where there is some great benefit for the user … for either enjoyment, cost savings, knowledge building. So I enrich the lives of others and have fun. But also, there is a incentive to make money. That’s a cinch. It is almost impossible to lose money with this form of site building. Knowing this, I go ahead and build sites and run with them. I give each all I got. Sometimes they pan out … and are super successful. Other times they are just reminders that I am not yet a marketing or social genius. Here’s an example.
The Facebook Game Farmville was really big last year. I decided to build a site that enriched people’s lives by sharing SECRETS about farmville. You know, how to wpoof the system, get more than anyone else will ever by learning secret codes, passages and places. Why not.

So you see, I have a lot of fun. In addition, I get to work with others. I found a guy who was doing very well with a FREE BLOG SITE. I approached him and got the OK to work in unison to build a site … check it out .. 13thFloorGrowingOld and come back!
See, you can do a theme, niche market, site about ANYTHING you want. That site, 13Th floor gets a ton of hits and is the springboard for a lot of activity in the music business.
You might ask, how much do I like my job? I LOVE IT … you name an idea, I want to learn it and build a site. My friends laugh, they see me look at a person or get involved in a situation, they know my mind is focusing on BUILDING A SITE AROUND IT! For example … my pal trains race horses. I love horses. I spent a lot of time on that farm … one afternoon, I was in the barn, it was late, warm, the horses had just been fed their 3rd dinner of rolled oats .. and they all poked their heads out of their space. Really neat. I love these animals. Why not do a site that promotes their care and success! So I did … I built a site about race horse training and ownership. Those horses have a great life. Even a swimming pool. they get veterenarian care, and eat very well. Why not promote THAT? I learned a lot about race horses too!
So, I went on to build over 350 SITES and hope to build at least 1000 more. Yes, one man, over 1500 sites!
This brings new challenges. There must be ways to syndicate, organize and hook all the sites together so that you do not have to change each of the 15oo sites one at a time. There is! I share that with you in the FREE E-BOOK ABOUT BLOGGING
